What Makes This Bowls Special

Come and try lawn bowls at Kia Toa Bowling Club in the heart of Hastings. Club days run on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays with names in by 12:45pm and play starting at 1:00pm during summer (September to April). In winter (May to August) play begins at 12:30pm on the same days. Each session lasts 180 minutes and entry fee details are available by checking with the club. All ages are welcome and the activity suits both new and experienced players.

Participants enjoy regular social contact while taking part in a traditional outdoor sport. The club has operated from St Aubyn Street West since 1922 and marked its centenary in 2022, giving members a strong sense of community and continuity. Members also gather for a draw on the first Friday of each month at 6:00pm.
