Artist Talk at Hangar Art & Framing - Auaha Kōrero

Auaha Kōrero | Artist Talk with Joanna Fieldes & Marilyn Murphy

Join us at Hangar Gallery for a special Auaha Kōrero artist talk with Joanna Fieldes and Marilyn Murphy, the two talented artists behind the exhibition Of Two Minds.

Joanna is a Whangārei-based painter and printmaker whose imaginative works explore New Zealand landscapes, history, identity and storytelling. Marilyn is an internationally exhibited artist whose intriguing paintings, prints and drawings blend dreams, humour and unexpected scenarios, inviting us to see the world from a different perspective.

The artists will discuss their art practice and current exhibition, sharing insights into their creative journeys, the influences behind their work, their artistic processes and the experiences that have shaped their practices.

Come along for a relaxed and inspiring kōrero, with an opportunity to ask questions, connect with fellow creatives and explore the exhibition.
