All-Ages Croquet Club Play

What Makes This Session Special

Turn up and enjoy a relaxed morning of croquet on full-size lawns with players of all ages and abilities. This open session welcomes both regular members and new visitors who want to play socially or build their skills. Games are arranged on the day so everyone gets good matches, with plenty of time for conversation between shots. Coaching can be arranged separately if requested. The group meets weekly on Tuesdays and Thursdays, giving a steady rhythm to the playing season from September through to mid-April.

Venue Details

The session takes place at the Akaroa sports grounds in Canterbury, where the club maintains two full-size croquet lawns and a small club room. The location sits right beside the tennis courts, making it easy to find and offering a pleasant open-air environment for the morning games.
