Exercise as Medicine® NZ is a charitable trust specialising in exercise for people with long-term conditions like Parkinson’s, MS and stroke, prostate cancer, breast cancer, cardiac issues, diabetes, osteoporosis and arthritis. We use elements of sports, dance, Tai Chi, yoga, balance work, strength and resistance, brain training, cardio and a bunch of other things to mix it up and make it fun and engaging. We hold group exercise classes for cardiac, prostate cancer (Prost-FIT), breast cancer (Live Stronger), Parkinson’s (Play for Parkinsons and High Performance Parkinson’s), Tai Chi, older adults (Use it or Lose it), RGM (Ronnie Gardiner Method) and men over 65 (Men’s circuits). We also hold an open-gym session called The Neurogym twice a week.
