🧘♀️ Steady As You Go© is a community-based falls prevention programme at St Georges Hall in Thames, perfect for older adults looking to improve strength, balance, and mobility through gentle exercises.
Class Details:
- Suitable for those with limited mobility or who use walking aids
- 45-minute session with seated and standing exercises
- Entry fee: $2
- Location: St Georges Hall, 602 MacKay Street, Thames (beside the hospital)
Who Can Join: Open to anyone aged 65+ (55+ for Māori and Pasifika) or anyone at increased risk of falling who can safely participate.
What to Bring: Comfortable clothing and supportive footwear suitable for movement.
