Benefits of Mobility & Balance Training for Seniors

Mobility and balance training is essential for maintaining independence and quality of life as we age. Sarah Jane's classes are specifically designed around falls prevention and improving functional strength for older Kiwis.

As a REPS registered exercise professional, Sarah creates slow-paced, supportive sessions that focus on:

  • Improved stability - reducing risk of falls and injuries
  • Enhanced coordination - making everyday movements easier
  • Increased confidence - regaining independence in daily activities
  • Better posture - reducing aches and pains
  • Social connection - meeting others in a supportive environment

Her classes are suitable for those with limited mobility (Level 1) who may use walking aids or feel unsure about physical activity, as well as those with reasonable mobility (Level 2) who can walk unassisted but want to improve their strength and balance.

As Robin, one of Sarah's clients shares: "My overall stability & core strength is greatly improved allowing me to move with more confidence & safety." Another client, Lynne, notes: "With her expert knowledge & caring attitude I find myself not only more flexible but virtually without pain."

Whether you're looking to maintain your current abilities or regain lost mobility, these classes provide a safe, friendly environment to work at your own pace. The Thursday morning social cuppa afterwards is the perfect way to connect with others in your community.

Come along and give it a go - the first step to better mobility and balance is just turning up!
