πŸ’ͺ Senior Fit is a physiotherapist-led circuit training class specially designed for over-60s of all fitness levels. Held at the Maungaturoto St John Hall, our sessions focus on improving strength, balance, and mobility in a supportive environment.

  • When: Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 9:30am, plus Tuesday evenings at 5:30pm
  • Where: St John's Ambulance Hall, 172 Hurndall Street East, Maungaturoto
  • Cost: $10 per session (discounted concession cards available)
  • Duration: 40-45 minutes including warm-up and cool-down

The class follows a circuit format with 10 different exercises performed for one minute each and repeated twice. Exercises include bicep curls, squats, and various movements using light weights, exercise bands, and balance activities - giving you a comprehensive full-body workout. πŸ‹οΈβ€β™€οΈ

Suitable for all fitness capabilities, including those recovering from stroke, surgery, or managing conditions like arthritis. Our qualified physios Caitlyn and Aimee can modify exercises to suit your individual needs.
