Move For Life is a gentle, supportive exercise programme designed specifically for people living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) or Parkinson’s. These classes include both seated and standing exercises that focus on improving strength, flexibility, coordination, and overall mobility—helping you stay active and independent in daily life.
Run by Multiple Sclerosis & Parkinson’s Canterbury at Pioneer Stadium in Christchurch, the programme offers a friendly and welcoming environment where you can move at your own pace, connect with others, and benefit from exercises tailored to your condition.
⚠️ Please note: This class is only available to clients diagnosed with MS or Parkinson’s and a pre-class assessment is required to ensure the programme is right for you.Who it's for:
People diagnosed with MS or Parkinson’s, whether you have limited mobility or are more physically able—everyone is welcome after assessment.
Cost:
$10 per session (when booking 10+ sessions) or $12 casual visit
