Gym Friday Boxing Training
Oamaru, Otago
What Happens at This Session
Participants arrive for a focused Friday evening of boxing and kickboxing training. The session opens with a group warm-up that includes movement drills and light conditioning to prepare the body. From there the group moves into technique work covering punches, kicks, footwork and defensive movements on pads and bags.
Everyone trains at their own level. Children and youth focus on form and coordination while adults and seniors work on timing, power and fitness. The format mixes individual practice with partner drills so newcomers and experienced participants train alongside each other. No prior experience is required.
This session runs weekly on Friday evenings and is open to visitors as well as regular attendees. The club provides a structured yet welcoming environment where people can build skills, improve fitness and enjoy the sport in a supportive group setting.
