Gold Movers: Senior Fitness for Active Adults 💪 🎵
Improve your strength and balance in a fun, safe and social environment at our Gold Movers class. Enjoy aerobics-style exercise to music, along with effective balance and strengthening exercises designed for active older adults.
This class takes place at the Papamoa Community Centre and costs $8 per class, or you can purchase 5 classes for $38.
- Class Format: 30 minutes of choreographed exercise to music followed by strength training with Thera bands and body weight exercises, finishing with mat work to challenge your core
- Suitability: For older adults with good fitness levels who can stay on their feet for 60 minutes and can get down on the floor
- What to Bring: Comfortable exercise clothes, water bottle, and yoga mat if you have one (some spares available)
- Social Element: Many participants enjoy coffee at the café across the road after class
