🧠 Steady As You Go offers gentle, physiotherapy-based strength and balance exercises in a supportive, weekly one-hour class at South Dunedin Baptist Church. Perfect for seniors or those with limited mobility looking to improve balance and stability.

This friendly class includes seated, standing and walking exercises led by trained Peer Leaders from Age Concern. The supportive environment makes it ideal for those who use walking aids or feel unsure about physical activities.

Improve Balance & Prevent Falls with Expert-Designed Exercises 🌟

Developed in 2003 by Margaret Dando QSM and Age Concern Otago, this programme is based on the internationally recognised Otago Exercise Programme used by physiotherapists worldwide. The class has been scientifically validated by the University of Otago School of Physiotherapy.

Regular participation in these classes has been proven to:

While designed primarily for those aged 65+, the class welcomes anyone concerned about falls or looking to improve their functional strength and balance in a supportive community setting. 💪
