Get active and have fun with our Dancing for Health classes at Te Puru Hall! πŸ’ƒ These energetic dance sessions combine fitness with enjoyment, featuring strength and balance exercises performed primarily standing. Suitable for all mobility levels from limited to good fitness, and ages from 55 to 95.

Our classes create a party-like atmosphere where we dance around the hall, sharing laughs while learning routines like circle dances and the Charleston. With 15-25 weekly participants, we're a welcoming community where everyone works at their own pace.

What to bring:

  • Comfortable clothing for movement
  • Bare feet, grippy socks or flat comfortable shoes
  • No equipment or mats needed
  • A koha (donation) for entry
