What Makes This Session Special

Girls aged 10 to 17 gather for focused choir rehearsal at The Arts Centre. Participants warm up their voices, work through new choral pieces and refine harmonies together under experienced guidance. The session suits committed young singers who enjoy structured music-making in a supportive group setting.

This rehearsal runs weekly on Wednesday evenings and forms a regular part of the choir calendar. Members arrive ready to sing, listen and build ensemble skills through repeated practice.

The Setting: The Arts Centre

The Arts Centre provides a central Christchurch venue with easy access for families in the surrounding neighbourhoods. Rehearsals take place in a dedicated space suited to group singing, with good acoustics and room for movement during warm-ups. Participants are dropped off or arrive independently, and the location makes it straightforward to combine with other after-school activities in the area.
