Celebrate Matariki with Us – Free Seedling Giveaway

On Monday 6 and Tuesday 7 July, we will be gifting free native seedlings 

grown from our Afforested Roof to visitors—encouraging everyone to take 

part in a meaningful act of planting and connection.

Event Details:                                          

•    Dates: Monday 6 & Tuesday 7 July

•    Time: From 10.30 (until seedlings run out)

•    Location: Main entrance, Hundertwasser Art Centre

•    Limit: One seedling per whānau / family

Each seedling represents more than just a plant—it is an opportunity to 

honour the three key principles 

of Matariki:

•    Remembrance – reflecting on those we have lost

•    Celebration – giving thanks for the present

•    Looking Forward – nurturing hope for the future
