Death Café Whangārei

Death Cafés are part of a global movement where people, often strangers, gather to discuss death. They started in cafes to bring the conversation into the light and out of the world of taboo topics. A comfortable, relaxed environment where ideas, thoughts, feelings can be shared. Join us for an open, informative, often light-hearted, lively, and wide-ranging discussion about our relationship to, and understanding of death in our livesand community. No agenda other than the questions we bring and the information we share about something that touches us all.Our Death Cafés are always offered on a not-for-profit basis, in a friendly, respectful and confidential space, with no intention of leading people to any conclusion, product or course of action. It is not a grief support or counselling session. Our objective is ‘to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite ) lives’. Tea and coffee provided, koha would be appreciated.Death Café Whangārei - Hundertwasser Art Centre
