Boost Your Balance with Active Balance Classes

Boost your confidence and coordination while enjoying a lively social gathering designed for community members of all abilities.

Enjoy a welcoming environment with Sonya for a low-impact session that's all about moving to music, laughing together, and improving balance in a supportive way.

Perfect for adults aged 30 and up, especially those in the 50-64 and 65+ groups, this class encourages everyone to participate at their own pace, fostering a sense of belonging and shared achievement.

Every session has chair-supported exercises, and/or uses resistance bands, balls, and sometimes a cool handmade tool crafted by Sonya herself.

No prior experience is required, making it accessible for beginners who might be looking to enhance their mobility or simply stay active without high intensity.

The casual entry fee is just $20.00, with an exciting perk: your second class is free!

Concession rates are available for those who prepay, ensuring affordability for ongoing participation.

Wear comfortable clothing that allows free movement and flat, supportive footwear to get the most out of the class—no special equipment needed.

Open to all, these classes shine in their community focus, bringing people together to build friendships and mutual encouragement.

By emphasising low-impact activities, it supports long-term wellbeing, helping participants reduce fall risks and maintain independence as they age.

Active Balance Classes occur weekly, providing a consistent opportunity to prioritise your physical and social health.
