Ages: 18+

About this workshop:

All beginners and advanced artists are welcome and will enjoy this series of weekly workshops. Acrylics are among the most versatile painting mediums available. In these workshops all ability levels will be guided through working with acrylic paint, teaching techniques, tricks, and tips unique to this amazing medium. This is a week-by-week program developed to explore abstracts and the human form in painting.

Course structure: Eight 3 hours workshops each over an 8 week period

Course cost per student (18 yrs+): $27.50 per week

Materials:

Bring own materials with a recommended starting materials list as follows:

– Watercolour paper (A4 / A3 size)

– Thick drawing paper (cartridge paper A4 / A3)

– Acrylic paints and basic brush set

– Paints should include primary colours, black and white

– Pencil and rubber

– Paint Palette or just a large old plate

– Water container
