About ACT2 visual Performing Arts school
ACT2’s Principal, Toni Neve is a creative arts educator, director, and community leader with 28 years’ international experience in professional theatre, dance and performing arts, arts education and large-scale community projects. London trained and arriving from the West End, Toni was passionate about developing ACT2 Visual and Performing Arts School to create an inclusive, culturally responsive spaces where creativity, confidence, and connection can thrive. She has produced and directed numerous large-scale community productions such as Shrek the Musical, Moana Jr, Carrie and many more! Toni has worked extensively with children, young people, and adults, and partnered with schools to deliver impactful arts programmes. With a background spanning international theatre, education, and community advocacy (including founding the inaugural Taupō Pride Picnic and later developing the Trust) Toni’s work is grounded in collaboration, storytelling, and a deep belief in the power of the arts to bring people together
