Rec Park Centre is a council-community recreation facility in Golden Bay.
The centre comprises a 200 – seat function centre including a commercial kitchen and bar, a 40 seat meeting room, squash courts, sports stadium and changing facilities.
The centre was designed by Redbox Architects and constructed by Gibbons Construction.
The building was blessed by Manawhenua Ki Mohua in January 2017 and the project completion was celebrated with a Gala fundraising dinner on 4 March 2017.
The Facility is governed by the Golden Bay Shared Recreation Facility Board and managed by Amanda Tait.
