Young Farmers Monthly Club Meetings

Monthly Meeting Sessions

These monthly gatherings bring together adults aged 16-31 who share an interest in agriculture and rural life. Attendees arrive ready to connect with others in the Wairarapa Young Farmers group and take part in an evening focused on practical topics and local issues. A typical session includes guest speakers sharing updates on farming practices, followed by open discussion and informal networking over refreshments. The format suits both those new to rural industries and experienced participants looking to stay informed. 🌾

The group meets on the first Wednesday of every month, creating a regular rhythm for ongoing learning and social connection in the Gladstone area. Sessions remain open to visitors, making it easy to attend a single meeting before deciding on longer involvement.

• Listen to guest speakers on current agricultural topics
• Share experiences and ask questions in group discussions
• Learn about local rural events and opportunities
• Build connections with peers in the farming community
• Explore practical ideas relevant to young farmers
• Enjoy a relaxed social atmosphere after the formal part
