World Rivers Day is back — and this year we're getting Christchurch moving for our urban waterways!

Come along with your whānau and friends for a fantastic day celebrating our urban rivers and the amazing people who care for our waterways.

 Loads of community and environmental stalls

 Games + hands-on activities

 Sausage sizzle – gold coin donation

Whether you want to paddle, dance, play, explore, learn or simply enjoy a great day beside the river, there's something for everyone.

Last year's World Rivers Day brought together 22 organisations and an estimated 1,500–2,000 people for a day packed with river activities, entertainment and family fun. We're building on that again this year!
