Women's weekly Catchball in Lyttelton

Come and try Catchball in Lyttelton!

Catchball is a women’s team sport similar to volleyball, but much easier—players catch and throw the ball instead of hitting it. It requires fewer skills and less physical effort than volleyball, making it safe and welcoming for women with a wide range of fitness levels.

Whether you have sporting experience or you’re a total beginner, you can join in at your own pace.

Catchball also has a strong social focus, with teams often getting together for fun events. It’s a wonderful opportunity to exercise and make friends in a positive, inclusive environment.

Your first session is free. Term fees are $65, and casual sessions are $10. We play during school terms, and you can join at any time. We’d love to see you!
