Description of Upright & Active – Senior Fitness Class
Stay active, improve your strength, and enjoy moving in a friendly, supportive environment. This circuit-style class is designed especially for seniors and is mostly done standing, with gentle movement between exercises. You are always encouraged to go at your own pace, and seated options are available for those who prefer or need them.
This is a warm and welcoming class with a strong community feel. New participants are made to feel at home, and there’s plenty of encouragement and support along the way.
What to expect
You’ll exercise in a spacious hall using a variety of equipment to keep things interesting and help build strength, balance, and confidence. Each session offers a mix of simple, effective exercises tailored for different ability levels.
The class is led by Raychel Russell, an experienced fitness trainer with a loyal following, known for creating enjoyable and inclusive sessions.
What to bring
All equipment is provided. Just wear comfortable clothing and supportive sneakers suitable for moving safely.
