A fun inclusive class

Upright & Active is a fun inclusive class that everyone is welcome to attend. It’s a class free of charge for anyone who is over 65, people who are recovering from injuries, or people with a high BMI who are starting their fitness journey.

What to expect

All exercise can be done either sitting or standing. We incorporate weights to improve our strength, cardio to improve our fitness and cardiovascular health, balance and flexibility exercises to prevent falls and injuries. Our classes are 30-40 minutes starting at 10.30am every Tuesday and Thursday. No need to book - just show up and join in.

Closed on public holidays and for 4 weeks over Christmas/New Year.

Rachel has taken this class for the last 6 years and has been in the health and fitness industry for the last 7 years. She has a passion for helping people achieve their goals and ensuring they are fit, strong and healthy, as they age.

Plenty of free roadside parking. You can park in bus stop during this time.

What to bring and wear

Wear snug fitting sneakers or shoes and wear clothes you are comfortable moving in.
