Tuesday Choir Practice in Birkenhead

What Makes This Session Special

Participants gather for a focused choir practice where voices blend in harmony during structured rehearsals. Singers work through vocal warm-ups before diving into repertoire that prepares them for upcoming concerts across the Auckland region. The session suits men of all ages and experience levels, with no auditions required to take part.

The choir meets every Tuesday evening, providing a regular rhythm for skill-building and group connection. Attendees follow the music director's guidance to refine timing, dynamics and expression across a range of pieces.

• Group vocal warm-ups to prepare voices
• Rehearsal of concert repertoire with full choir
• Sectional work on harmonies and timing
• Guidance from an experienced music director
• Opportunities to build stamina for live performances
• Supportive environment for returning and new singers

North Shore Male Choir hosts the practice as its core weekly activity, welcoming anyone keen to join the singing without prior commitment.
