Description of Tauranga - Resin Workshop
This will be the first class for 2026 in Tauranga
Tutor: Philip Coetzee
Time to learn about resin as an art medium.
Select from Resin cheeseboards / Charcuterie boards to Wall clocks or even a round tray.
All materials supplied for you, beginners welcome.

What is included?
- A Cheeseboard (various designs to choose from) + Four (4) Coasters OR
- 1 x Lazy Susan (Rotating Round) board (30cm) + Four (4) Coasters OR
- 1x Round Wooden Art Board (Standard 38cm) OR
- 1x Wall Clock (38cm) OR
- 1x Round Tray (30-33cm) / alternative may be rectangular - 4 Coasters OR
- Epoxy resin, range of colour pigments/pastes, apron, gloves (everything you need).
- Introduction to working with different epoxy resins, colour materials and preparation. Health and safety.
- A step by step demonstration of making an Ocean Scene cheeseboard (other colours available for your own design).*
- The class runs for 3-3.5 hours.
- Resin Artwork will need 24 hrs to cure to touch dry.
- NOTE: We will provide pizza boxes to take the wet resin boards home at the end of the class. Make sure you have a flat space cleared in your car boot.
What to bring:
- Wear old clothing in case you’re a bit messy with the resin (we do supply an apron).
