What Happens at This Session

Young singers gather for a focused rehearsal where they warm up together before working through new and familiar pieces. The session supports children and youth who enjoy singing, with guidance on technique, breathing and harmony. Participants learn songs drawn from movies, musicals, Disney, jazz, pop and classical styles, building confidence through regular practice. No prior music reading is required, and the format suits those attending for the first time as well as returning singers.

The choir meets weekly on Sunday afternoons at The Spot. Each rehearsal mixes group singing, sectional work and performance practice so everyone leaves having made progress on current material. An extension group for older children and teens runs alongside the main session when numbers allow. The atmosphere stays relaxed yet productive, helping singers develop their voices while enjoying the social side of group music-making.
