Benefits of Strength Training for Seniors πŸ‹οΈβ€β™€οΈ

Regular strength training for older adults offers tremendous health benefits beyond just building muscle. As part of the Leisurelys programme, this class is specifically designed to help seniors maintain independence and improve quality of life.

Strength exercises help:

  • Preserve muscle mass that naturally decreases with age
  • Strengthen bones and reduce risk of osteoporosis
  • Improve balance and coordination to prevent falls
  • Enhance mobility for everyday activities
  • Boost metabolism and maintain healthy weight
  • Support joint health and reduce arthritis symptoms

Our social, engaging approach means you'll enjoy exercising to music alongside peers while receiving expert guidance. The class structure includes a proper warm-up, targeted strength exercises for all major muscle groups, and a cool-down with stretching.

Each session is adaptable to individual needs while maintaining the right level of challenge as you progress. Join our supportive community of active seniors and experience how regular strength training can transform your wellbeing and confidence! πŸ’―
