Your Guide to CALL FOR ARTISTS – PUANGA MATARIKI 2026 ART EXHIBITION

Artists of all ages and experience levels can share their creativity and celebrate Puanga and Matariki at Reyburn House Art Gallery. The exhibition invites participants to honour the past, celebrate the present, and look to the future through artwork inspired by stars, whānau, whenua, and Māori culture. Each submission costs ten dollars, with no age restrictions, making it open to everyone from first-time creators to established local artists.

The event runs for two hours and welcomes families, individuals, and community groups who want to connect through storytelling and artistic expression. Entry forms are available at the gallery or online, and all artwork must be submitted by Sunday 7 June 2026 at 2.00pm.
