The Ancient Art of Qigong: Working with Your Energy ✨

Qigong (pronounced "Chee Gong") is an ancient Chinese practice often described as the art of preventative medicine. Qi means energy, and Gong means skill or work - so Qigong literally translates to "the skill of working with your energy."

Each one-hour session follows a structured format designed to maximize benefits:

  • Warm-up: Gentle movements to prepare your body
  • Stretch: Becoming aware of tension lines in your body
  • Activate: Awakening stored energy within
  • Flow: Allowing your Qi to guide smooth, gentle movements
  • Meditation: 10 minutes of relaxation to complete your practice

Regular Qigong practice offers numerous benefits for both body and mind:

  • Strengthens your immune system
  • Calms mental and emotional states
  • Energises the body naturally
  • Improves flexibility and balance

The movements in Qigong are simple and accessible. You're encouraged to listen to your body and move in ways that feel comfortable - remember, the philosophy here is "no pain, no pain." πŸ’†

Through long, soft, deep breaths combined with mindful movement, you'll discover how to harness and direct your body's natural energy pathways. Many practitioners report feeling more centered, balanced and energised after just one session.

Join Lisa in this supportive environment and experience the transformative benefits of this ancient practice for yourself!
