Octavius NZ Choir Rehearsals

Choir Rehearsal Sessions

Participants gather for structured vocal practice focused on close harmony and a cappella singing across varied genres. Singers arrive ready to warm up together before working through selected pieces under the director's guidance. The format suits experienced vocalists who enjoy precise ensemble work in a small group setting.

The choir meets every Wednesday evening at the Taradale Anglican Church Octagon. These rehearsals are open to current members only, providing a consistent space to refine technique and repertoire each week.

• Run through new and existing arrangements with full group focus
• Develop blend and timing in close harmony parts
• Explore different musical styles during each session
• Receive direct feedback on individual and ensemble delivery
• Build stamina for sustained a cappella performance
• Prepare material suitable for upcoming presentations

All ages participate, bringing a range of voices to the weekly sessions. Attendance supports steady improvement in a dedicated chamber choir environment.
