Description of Northern Soul Art & Music Festival - Far North Community Hospice

Far North Community Hospice is thrilled to present NORTHERN SOUL – ART & MUSIC FESTIVAL

Friday 16 May | Waipapakauri Hotel | 11am - 5pm | FREE ENTRY

This May, let your heart beat to the rhythm of Northern Soul, a vibrant celebration of NZ Music Month, Hospice Awareness Week, and the incredible talent of our Far North community.

Join us for a fun filled whānau day with something for everyone, where local artists come together for one powerful cause. Musicians, stallholders, bouncy castles and rides will fill the field of the Waipapakauri Hotel with soulful sounds, creative energy, and a lively community atmosphere you won’t want to miss.

All proceeds from this event will support Far North Community Hospice, whose compassionate nurses provide expert pain management so patients with life‑limiting illnesses do not die in pain. Hospice also walks alongside grieving whānau for a full year after the loss of their loved one, offering care, comfort, addressing social needs and understanding when it’s needed most.

What to expect:

- Live performances from talented local musicians

- An epic range of kai stalls from around the Far North

- Art, creativity, and community spirit

- Kids area fun – bouncy castles, rides, face painting & games

- A warm, welcoming venue hosted by the Waipapakauri Hotel

- A chance to celebrate NZ Music Month while supporting local artists

Come for the community. Stay for the atmosphere. Leave knowing you’ve helped make a difference.
