The Manukau Tramping Club is dedicated to fostering a love for the outdoors through organised tramping activities. We welcome trampers of all levels to our monthly meeting, held at the Anglican Church Hall in Papakura. Our club's philosophy centres on regular outdoor adventures, with two tramps per week most weeks of the year—typically one on Sundays and one on Tuesdays. These tramps are graded by Expected Duration and Terrain Difficulty, helping participants choose suitable options. Note that travel time to and from tracks is not included in the duration grades.

The monthly meeting lasts 90 minutes and is open to all ages, making it a welcoming space for families, individuals, and newcomers alike. It's free to attend, with no entry fee required.
