Macular Degeneration NZ Free Awareness and Education Seminar

MDNZ is a charity raising awareness about macular degeneration, an age-related eye disease that affects 1 in 7 people over the age of 50 and can lead to blindness. We are trying to get the message out that early diagnosis and treatment can save sight!

We are holding a Free Awareness and Education Seminar in Gisborne at 10.30am on Saturday 14th March at the Emerald Hotel and Conference Centre.

Ophthalmologist, Dr Samuel Newlands, will share the latest information on diagnosis and treatments and will offer advice about how to best manage macular degeneration.
