Low Impact Fitness Class
Tokoroa, Waikato
Description of Low Impact Fitness Class
Enjoy a fun and welcoming low-impact class set to music. It’s a great way to stay active, improve your fitness, and connect with others in a relaxed, social environment.
The class includes a mix of gentle cardio, strength, and balance exercises. Chairs are available for support, with seated options offered where needed. You’re encouraged to move at your own pace and take part in a way that suits you.
Everyone is welcome, and there’s a light-hearted tradition—bring along a piece of fruit, and one lucky participant will take home the fruit collection at the end of the session.
Who can join
Open to adults aged 65+ (or 55+ for Māori and Pasifika), as well as anyone at increased risk of falling who can safely take part.
What to bring and wear
Wear comfortable, casual clothing such as track pants, shorts, or tights with a t-shirt or sweatshirt. Supportive, well-fitting shoes or sneakers are recommended.
Additional information
