Hands-On Cubs Scout Evenings
Mosgiel, Otago
Get Involved: Cubs
Come along and try the Cubs session run by the Mosgiel Scout Group. This weekly gathering gives children and youth the chance to build practical skills through scouting activities in a structured, supportive setting. Participants work on badge challenges, play team games, practise outdoor skills and learn basic first aid and navigation. The focus stays on hands-on learning and small-group teamwork rather than formal instruction.
The Cubs section meets every Tuesday evening in Mosgiel. Sessions suit current members who have already joined the group and are ready for regular attendance. Scouts Aotearoa programme elements are woven through each gathering so young people progress at their own pace while enjoying the company of their peers.
