Through controlled breathing, concentration and a carefully structured series of stretches and poses, you'll leave feeling centred and calm.

Each class follows a structured format that begins with a gentle warm-up, progresses through a standing strength sequence, includes floor-based exercises, and concludes with a calming meditation. The movements are performed to carefully selected music that complements each section.

As a Level 3 class at Fitness Matakana, this BodyBalance® session is particularly suited to participants who already have a good fitness foundation. However, instructors provide options to modify movements, allowing you to work at your own pace and gradually build your practice.

Regular attendance can lead to noticeable improvements in posture, core strength, flexibility, and mental clarity. Many participants report sleeping better, feeling less anxious, and experiencing fewer aches and pains with consistent practice.
