If you're new to this kind of exercise, don't worry – the Body Balance class makes it easy to get started. This session blends yoga, Tai Chi, and Pilates to help you feel more centred and calm. It takes place at the Westland Recreation Centre in Greymouth on the West Coast. The class is geared towards older adults with reasonable to good mobility, so it's a good fit if you can move around without much trouble, have average to good strength and balance, and feel okay with physical activities.
You'll work on improving your flexibility, strength, and mental wellbeing through flowing sequences and controlled breathing.
