Geared towards accessibility, our club is proudly located in Newtown, Wellington, at 131 Russell Terrace, making us a convenient choice for local firearm enthusiasts across the region. Wellington, known for its vibrant community and diverse recreational opportunities, provides the perfect backdrop for our club’s activities. Whether you’re based in the city centre or surrounding areas, our central location ensures you’re never far from the action. We invite prospective members to visit us on Sunday mornings between 10.00am and 1.00pm (except on the fifth Sunday of the month) to experience the sport firsthand or to enquire about our introductory courses.
Our Events and Community
At Wellington Pistol Club, we believe in the power of community, which is why our club is run by the members, for the members. Throughout the year, we host a variety of shooting events, with competition-style matches held on most Sundays. These include ISSF, centrefire, and action matches, offering something for every pistol shooting enthusiast. Please note that we do close briefly from late December to early January for the holiday season.
