Our central location in the Wellington region makes us easily accessible for local residents and visitors alike. Whether you’re driving or using public transport, getting to our club is a breeze. Player car-parking is available on Alexandra Road and down the driveway, with 8-10 additional carparks on the grass verges beside the club. Taxis can conveniently come down the drive and turn, while nearby bus stops are located at the corner of Constable and Coromandel Street, as well as on Alexandra Road by the SPCA. For pedestrians, walkway access is available from the top of Seddon Street and directly from Alexandra Road, with free carparks also offered along the road.

Membership and Facilities

At Wellington Municipal Croquet Club, we offer flexible membership options to suit everyone. For the summer season, full membership is priced at $260, with discounts available for those over 80, new members, students, associate members, and more. During the winter season, membership is just $75, or you can opt for a $5 ‘pay per play’ fee. Our club rooms are a welcoming space for members to relax and socialise, and during the summer season, our venue is available for hire for ‘have-a-go’ days—perfect for community events or introducing friends to croquet in Wellington.
