Calling all multisport enthusiasts! Wairarapa Multisports Club is a vibrant sports club based in the heart of Wellington, dedicated to fostering a passion for physical challenges and community connection. Specialising in triathlons, duathlons, and mountain duathlons, our club offers a dynamic range of activities for athletes of all levels. Whether you're a seasoned competitor or just starting out, we provide opportunities to test your endurance and skills through regular events and training sessions. Our club is proudly affiliated with Triathlon New Zealand, ensuring high standards and a supportive network for our members. We also organise the popular Breadcraft Kids Triathlon, inspiring the next generation of athletes.
Conveniently located in Lansdowne, Masterton, within the Wellington region, our club is perfectly positioned for locals and visitors alike to join in the action. Our regular Thursday night meetups during daylight saving hours take place at The Men's Shed, Henley Lake, where participants gather at 5.45pm for a 6pm start. These sessions kick off with a scenic 5km run around the lake, followed by a challenging 20km cycle along Lees Pakaraka Road. The Wellington area’s diverse terrain makes it an ideal backdrop for our multisport events, from serene lakes to rolling roads, offering a unique experience for every athlete.
