About the Waikato Morris Eight Club

A dedicated car club for Morris 8 owners and enthusiasts, the Waikato Morris Eight Club brings together passionate individuals who share a love for these classic vehicles. Formed eighteen years ago by a group of Morris Eight enthusiasts in the Waikato Region, New Zealand, the club fosters a welcoming environment for like-minded people to connect and enjoy their hobby. We generally meet on the last Sunday of each month for relaxed runs around the area, often stopping for morning tea and a picnic lunch or whatever has been organised. Additionally, we organise a couple of weekends away each year, typically during the summer months. New members are most welcome, and we send out a monthly newsletter to members, which includes reports and photos from previous runs, along with details on the next meeting place and destination. The club also enjoys joining other groups and car clubs for day outings in our Morris 8s, promoting a sense of community among car enthusiasts in the region.
