Thames Bowling Club is a cornerstone of the lawn bowls community in Waikato, offering a warm and inviting space for players of all levels. Established in 1900, our club has a rich history of bringing people together through the sport of bowls. We proudly maintain two pristine grass greens for traditional play and a winter carpet green for year-round enjoyment. As a combined club since 2011, we boast a diverse membership of approximately 80 men and 40 women bowlers, alongside around 120 non-playing members who contribute to our vibrant social atmosphere. Whether you’re looking to compete or simply enjoy a relaxing game, our club is the perfect place to experience the camaraderie and skill of lawn bowls.
