Do I need to be a member to play?
No. Visitors are always welcome at Te Anau Golf Club. Whether you're a local, or visiting from overseas, we'd love to have you on the course.
How do I book a tee time?
We don't have set tee time bookings, however we recommend booking in advance during busy periods and tournament weekends.
Is the course open all year round?
Yes. Our course is open year-round, weather permitting. During winter, frost delays may occasionally affect play to protect the greens. We keep golfers updated through our communication channels.
Can I hire golf clubs or a cart?
Yes. Golf club hire, trundlers, and golf carts are available. We recommend booking these in advance, particularly during peak visitor periods.
Do you have practice facilities?
Yes. We have a practice putting green, and a driving net to help you warm up before your round. We do not have a driving range
What is the dress code?
Neat golf attire is expected on the course. Golf shoes are recommended, and we ask players to respect the traditions of the game while remaining comfortable.
Are beginners welcome?

Light refreshments and beverages are available through the clubhouse bar. Catering is also available for many tournaments and special events.
Is there parking available?
Yes. Free parking is available on-site.
How long does a round take?
A typical 18-hole round takes around 4 to 4½ hours, while 9 holes usually takes about 2 hours, depending on course traffic.
What wildlife might I see on the course?
Our course is home to a variety of native and local birdlife. Combined with stunning views of Lake Te Anau and the Fiordland mountains, every round offers a true Fiordland experience.
