Founded in 1935, Stewart Alexander Golf Club, originally named Pokuru Golf Club, stands as a testament to timeless golfing excellence in the Waikato region. This par 70 course stretches 5108 metres for men and 4798 metres for women, offering a balanced challenge for players of all skill levels. The defined fairways, framed by mature trees, guide you through a picturesque landscape, while the excellent greens ensure a rewarding game every time. With six green bunkers and three fairway bunkers, strategic play is key, especially on the two or three doglegs that add an exciting twist to your round. Whether you’re a seasoned golfer or a weekend enthusiast, this course is designed to captivate and challenge. Beyond the game, our club rooms are available for hire, seating up to 80 with bar and kitchen facilities, making it an ideal venue for events or post-game gatherings.
