With over 70 members ranging from teenagers to those in their 90s, we pride ourselves on being an inclusive club where men and women can compete on equal footing. Our four well-maintained croquet lawns, framed by picturesque gardens, provide the perfect setting for a game that blends skill and strategy. Whether you're interested in golf croquet, association croquet, ricochet, or even speed ball, there's something for everyone at our Wellington-based club. We cater to all skill levels, from social players looking for a relaxed game to highly competitive individuals seeking a challenge. Coaching is also available for newcomers eager to learn the ropes of this engaging sport.

Discover us at 2 Plimmerton Drive, just off Ulric Street, in the scenic suburb of Plimmerton, Porirua. Our club is conveniently located a short walk from Plimmerton Village, the beach, and the local railway station, making it easily accessible for members and visitors alike. Positioned approximately 25km north of Wellington city, we’re also near notable landmarks like Palmer's Garden Centre and State Highway 59. This prime location in the Wellington region ensures that whether you're a local or visiting from further afield, you can enjoy a day of croquet in a beautiful and accessible setting.

Join Us Year-Round

Our croquet lawns are open all year, with the main playing season running from September to May. This extended season allows ample opportunity for members to hone their skills or simply enjoy a casual game in a friendly environment. For those new to the sport, we provide coaching to help you get started, ensuring you feel confident on the lawn. Our annual subscription is $350, with reduced rates for those joining mid-season, making membership accessible to all. Visitors from other croquet clubs are always welcome, with a nominal fee of $5 per half day, which includes refreshments. Club mallets are available for use, so there’s no need to bring your own equipment if you're just dropping by.
