A dynamic gymnastics club in the heart of Waikato, Piako Gymnastics Club - Morrinsville provides engaging classes for children aged 2 to 18, with a membership exceeding 300 young athletes. Formerly known as Morrinsville Gymnastics Club, it is proudly affiliated with Gymnastics NZ, ensuring high standards in coaching and safety. Our diverse programmes cater to beginners and advanced participants, fostering physical development, coordination, and teamwork through structured gymnastics sessions.
Our Programmes and Offerings
Explore a range of age-appropriate gymnastics classes designed to suit every stage of development. Play Gym introduces toddlers aged 2 to 5 to basic movements in a playful setting. For children 5 to 7, Gym Fun builds foundational skills with fun activities. Gym For All Gymnastics welcomes participants 7 and older, offering versatile training. Thrilling options like Ninja Parkour for 5+ years and Trampoline for 8+ add excitement, while Tumble-Fit targets those 12 and above. Our competitive Women's Artistic Gymnastics programme hones elite skills for dedicated gymnasts. Note that certain facilities, such as Morrinsville College Gymnasium and Trampoline, will not be available in Term 4 2025.
Locations and Accessibility
Elevating gymnastics in the Waikato region, our club operates from convenient venues in Morrinsville and Te Aroha. Classes are held at Morrinsville Church Gym - Agape Church on 139 Anderson Street, at the end of Canada Street, and in Te Aroha at 20 Lipsey Street on the first floor at the corner of Lipsey and Burgess Streets. This setup allows families in the Matamata-Piako district easy access to quality gymnastics training, promoting community involvement and active lifestyles.
