What to Expect at Outdoor Training NZ Manawatu
Open to all and welcoming to newcomers, Outdoor Training NZ Manawatu provides a supportive environment for anyone passionate about the outdoors. As an active branch focused on environment and outdoors activities, particularly tramping, we deliver practical training that builds confidence and skills in natural settings. Our offerings include bushcraft and river safety courses tailored for adults, ensuring participants gain essential knowledge for safe adventures. For younger members or those pursuing awards, the Duke of Edinburgh programme features adventurous journey training and shadowing journeys at Bronze, Silver, and Gold levels. These gatherings are all welcome, providing a chance to connect, share experiences, and plan upcoming activities.
