Welcome to Otorohanga Pony Club

Whether you're new to riding or an experienced eventer, the Otorohanga Pony Club offers a fantastic space for young equestrian enthusiasts under 25 to thrive. As a dedicated sports club, we cater to all levels of riders, from those on lead rein to advanced competitors at NZPC A1 and DC eventing team levels. Our season runs from September to May, filled with regular events that challenge and inspire. Members are encouraged to progress through Pony Club certificates while building lasting friendships and enjoying time with their ponies.

Beautiful Facilities for Every Rider

Based in a scenic local area, our club boasts impressive grounds that cater to a variety of equestrian activities. Our facilities include a cross country course for thrilling challenges and a fenced 60x20 grass arena perfect for training and events. Adjoining our grounds is the serene Waipa River, featuring a horse swimming hole for unique bonding experiences with your pony. This setting provides an ideal backdrop for both beginners and seasoned riders to hone their skills in a safe, supportive environment.
