Our base in Ōtaki, nestled within the beautiful Kapiti Coast district, positions us as a central force for community engagement. The OWCC is proud to be the driving force behind the ever-popular Ōtaki Market, held on the Main Highway opposite New World every first and third Sunday of the month, with additional weekend dates during November, December, January, and February. This bustling market supports local businesses and provides a platform for community members to connect. With stall fees at just $15.00, it’s an accessible opportunity for vendors to showcase their crafts and goods. Beyond the market, our regular meetings—dinner on the second Monday at 5:30 pm and supper on the fourth Monday at 7:00 pm at the RSA—offer consistent chances to socialise and plan initiatives that benefit the wider Wellington area.
